June 11, 2024

The ProTerra Standard v5, successfully launched earlier this year and available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese and French, continues to be an important milestone in our commitment to promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

It has been republished on the Standards Map, the world’s largest database for sustainability standards managed by the International Trade Centre (ITC), which provides detailed information on various sustainability standards and certification schemes. For the most accurate and detailed information, you can visit the ProTerra Foundation’s page on the Standards Map here. This page provides comprehensive details on the standard’s requirements, governance, and resources.

Additionally, the ProTerra Standard has been published on the FEFAC benchmarking tool, compliant with the FEFAC 2023 Guidelines, with the following filters: supply chain model (area mass balance, segregation, identity preservation and non-conversion (cut-off date before December 2009, and polygon availability). The standard is benchmarked against the FEFAC Soy Sourcing Guidelines 2021 and 2023. The European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation FEFAC Soy Sourcing Guidelines Benchmarking Tool allows users to find the right standards for their needs. Check it out here.
